Our Lovely new Balinese Cats are proving to be very popular with our customers. They are hand carved by a family of master woodcarvers living high in the hills in Bali.

They are hand carved from sustainably grown albesia wood. Albesia wood is an incredible resource, in the tropics trees can grow to a height of 70 ft and a girth of 3 ft within 4 years of germination. It is soft, light and easy to carve and as it grows so quickly it is very sustainable.

Our Cats are hand carved before being painted by hand then varnished with a matt varnish for protection. As they are hand carved and hand painted each cat is slightly different, so you are getting a unique piece of art!

Our Family of Cats consist of 3 wonderful cats; Kitten ( 26 cm, 10" high by 7.5 cm, 3 " wide), Mama ( 30cm, 12" high by 8.5cm, 3.5 " wide) & Papa ( 35cm, 14" high by 10 cm, 4" wide)
