Our Handmade  Rainbow Wallets are very special. They are handmade for us by one of our fair trade producers working in the Kathmandu Valley, high up in the Himalaya.

The  Rainbow Fabric is a traditional Bhutanese Fabric, however over the centuries there has been a steady stream of merchants with their caravans of sure footed Himalayan Donkeys, travelling between the himlayan nations of Bhutan and Nepal.

These days the rainbow fabric is very poplar in Nepal, so much so that many people think that it is a Nepalese material. It is loved for it's bright colours but also it's hardwearing properties and as such is the perfect material for our lovely wallets!

Our wallets contain two compartments for notes, one is zipped so that you can hide your large notes if you are fortunate enough to have some, a zip up coin purse and a section for credit cards.
